Seriously, it takes a village to help this bottled blonde blog! I kid you not!
Bless my husband who Always encourages me and always (well, almost always:) answers his phone, knowing it is another computer crisis! Bless sister number three for editing my first post (I didn’t want to scare away any grammar police). She is our in-house Master of the English language and I truly wish she could sit by my side. It seems I have a Real fondness for commas. This is true. I punctuate as I speak. Lots of run on sentences with a comma for every time I breathe:) I might as well go ahead and admit a true love for the !!!! So from this post forward all the mistakes are my own and I hope it won’t drive you crazy. (I think that needs a comma but I am trying really hard to tell myself no.) In my first draft of post number one, it had eleven overused commas and I missed putting in three! Mercy, y’all just forgive me! Bless my brother-in-law who started us on this road, so all I would have to do is put my thoughts on paper. Well on the screen:) That seems to be my main problem!
My name is Kathy, I am fifty-six years old and I am a computer illiterate! So for now (which lasted for two days), I have resorted to my favorite medium of pen on paper. Yes, I wrote this on real paper first. Maybe tomorrow I will be more successful with my possessed computer! In my head I hear the voices of my two beautiful daughters saying (with only a tiny bit of exasperation), “Mom, please give it to me and I will just do it for you.” This is, of course, how I have gotten by all these years. If only they were here. But, this is not their journey. It is mine! Kathy
PS. I can’t begin to tell you how much I love emoticons and PS.
